tiesioginė sauga ir savigyna statusas T sritis Gynyba apibrėžtis Priemonių kompleksas, kurio tikslas neleisti priešo žvalgybai prasiskverbti į artilerijos ugnies pozicijų ir vadaviečių rajonus, neduoti priešui galimybės netikėtai užpulti. Tiesioginę saugą ir savigyną baterijoje organizuoja baterijos vadas; ugnies pozicijų rajonuose skiriami stebėtojai, patruliai ir budintys skyriai, o vadavietėse ir sekyklose – budintys stebėtojai. Kiekvienos baterijos ugnies pozicijoje įrengiamas stebėjimo postas, skiriami 2–3 stebėtojai. Naktį ir kt. blogo matomumo sąlygomis, t. p. miške ugnies pozicijų rajone organizuojamas patruliavimas. Ugnies pozicijoje priešo puolimui atremti pabūklams skiriami šaudymo sektoriai, minuojama arba ruošiama minavimui vietovė galimo tankų puolimo kryptimi, kasami apkasai, organizuojamas vietovės apšvietimas naktį, sąveika priešui prasiveržus į ugnies poziciją, sudaroma ugnies pozicijos tiesioginė sauga ir savigyna schema; kai baterija (būrys) nešaudo, kiekviename pabūklų skyriuje skiriamas budėtojas. Vadavietėse, sekyklose ruošiami apkasai ir skiriami šaudymo sektoriai, ruošiama baterijos (būrio) ugnis artimiausiose punktų prieigose, organizuojamas vietovės apšvietimas naktį, sąveika su gretimais padaliniais.
